Dear Kevin

I am emailing you on behalf of the Executive Committee of Stanford-le-Hope and District U3A to thank your driver Ken for the consideration he showed to one of our members Gina who has to walk with crutches.

On March 24th Ken took us to the Prince of Wales Theatre and on the return journey he dropped Gina off opposite Sandown Road where she lives. Although a feisty lady she had not been looking forward to crossing by foot the old A13 because at that point it is wide and at the top of a curving hill. She did not tell Ken this but when he stopped to let her off he insisted on accompanying her to make sure she got across the road safely. It was much appreciated.

We also had Ken as a driver when we went to the Globe theatre earlier on in the year and one of our members mentioned in an email to me that she had been impressed with his driving and his patience.
